If Your Eyes are the Windows to Your Soul, then are Windows the Eyes to Your House?

Well, it's been a whole two weeks since I had my new windows installed!  Good news: I am still in the front running for Procrastinator of the Year.

So, this is what the house looked like with the old windows - but with the clean awnings :) -

First of all, I'm not really sure why Mama suggested I get new windows.  The duct tape was holding the old ones together just fine.

I didn't do that, FYI.  That has been like that since I moved it.  I'm not sure which is worse.  :/  My mom was nice enough to come and supervise the window installation so I did not have to take the day off from work.  She took a few pictures for me.

Here's the finished product!  I think it looks great!

Now I can't wait to get the next power bill?  (Who ever says that??)
